وعلم موقع بطولات أن هناك حالة من الغموض تحيط بمستقبل أحمد حمدي، خاصة بعد حالة الغضب داخل النادي بسبب موعد زفافه الذي أقيم منذ أيام، بالتزامن مع غيابه المستمر عن حسابات الفريق.
وينتهي عقد أحمد حمدي مع الزمالك في يونيو المقبل، ما يمنحه أحقية التوقيع لأي نادٍ آخر بداية من يناير القادم دون العودة لإدارة الزمالك، وهو ما يزيد من تعقيد الموقف.
حتى هذه اللحظة، لم تتحرك إدارة الزمالك لفتح باب التفاوض مع اللاعب لتجديد عقده، ما يعكس عدم وجود اتجاه واضح لاستمراره داخل الفريق بالموسم المقبل.
وبحسب ما علم “بطولات” يفكر الزمالك في بيع اللاعب خلال الشتاء إذا وصل عرض مناسب، رغبة في تحقيق أي استفادة مالية، خاصة في ظل الأزمة المالية الحالية.
ويرى مسؤولو النادي أن أحمد حمدي خارج الحسابات الفنية منذ فترة طويلة، ولا يشارك في التدريبات الجماعية أو قوائم المباريات هذا الموسم، وهو ما يجعل رحيله أقرب من استمراره داخل الفريق.

The Red Sox later announced the injury was right quad tightness. It's still not known the severity of the injury.
Information is not yet available about Bregman’s injury and how serious it is, but Boston being down another infielder would make for a very complicated infield situation. Triston Casas is out for the season after a gruesome injury at first base. Boston asked Rafael Devers to play first, but Devers was vocally uninterested after voicing earlier displeasure at being relegated from third base to DH this spring to make room for Bregman. That even prompted trade speculation. It’s easy to imagine how delicate it might be to request Devers go back to third if it turns out Bregman’s injury is something that keeps him out for an extended period of time.
Marcelo Mayer, currently doing everything right for Triple A Worcester, can play third.
Coming into the day, Bregman was slashing .297/.381/.554 with an OPS+ of 159. He led the Sox with hits (58) coming into Friday.

Chelsea have built a squad full of brilliant players over the last few years, with the injured Cole Palmer being the jewel in their crown.
The former Manchester City prospect joined the club over two years ago and, since then, has been nothing short of world-class.

So, fans should be delighted about reports linking Chelsea to an international star who could be another Palmer-type signing for them.

The report has revealed that, while Barcelona are happy with how the 27-year-old is performing on loan this season and have a €30m buy option – £26m – they are also still considering whether he’d be worth the financial outlay, given the club’s position on that front.
Moreover, as the Spanish side have been deliberating on the matter, the report claims that the Blues have already been in contact with the player’s camp, and want to make him a key part of their attack next year.
It’s unclear how much Manchester United would charge the West Londoners, but given their desire to move him on, it could be in the region of his Transfermarkt valuation of €40m, or about £35m.
It could be a complicated deal to get over the line, but given Rashford’s ability and form, it’s one worth pursuing, especially as he could be another Palmer.
Why Rashford would be another Palmer
Now, while there certainly are some differences between the two players, such as their ages, there are still several reasons why Rashford could be another Palmer-type signing for Chelsea.
For example, and this is the most important of them all, while he has had a few down seasons since he broke onto the scene, the 28-year-old has also had more than a few in which he’s been practically unplayable.
In the 22/23 season, before the wheels well and truly fell off at Old Trafford, the Manchester-born monster racked up an utterly sensational tally of 30 goals and 12 assists in 56 games.
A couple of years before that, he scored 21 goals and provided 18 assists in 57 games, and his overall tally of 216 goal involvements in 426 games for the Red Devils is genuinely astounding.
Moreover, he is currently showing that he can reproduce such numbers in another league entirely: in 16 appearances for Barca, totalling 1134 minutes, he’s scored six goals and provided nine assists, which is an average of a goal involvement every 1.06 games, or every 70.87 minutes.

In other words, the dynamic attacker, whom content creator Neal Gardner dubbed one of “the best in the world”, is someone who could have a similar game-changing impact on Enzo Maresca’s side as Palmer has.
Furthermore, it would also be another instance of the West Londoners pouncing on an incredible English player no longer wanted by one of the Manchester clubs.
Finally, just like Pensioners’ talismanic number ten, the 68-capped international is almost certainly going to be heading to the World Cup with England in the summer and will likely play a key role for Thomas Tuchel.
Ultimately, while it might be a complicated transfer to get over the line, Chelsea should do what they can to sign Rashford in the summer, as he could be another Palmer.

وواصل: “استفدنا من التجربتين رغم كثرة الإصابات، وأريد أن أوضح شيئاً هؤلاء اللاعبين خاضوا أربع مباريات في عشرة أيام، ولاعبو الأهلي والزمالك وبيراميدز، وأقول لمن يفهمون ويحبون بلدهم، أنا أدرب الفريق حصتين فقط قبل المباريات”.
وزاد: “اللاعبون يأتون منهكين ومصابين، (فيه ايه يا جماعة)، نحن نُجرّب وندخل لاعبين جدد، ما المشكلة؟، ولماذا يصبر الناس على المدرب الأجنبي ولا يصبرون علينا؟ أنا لا آخذ رزق أحد، وهذا الجهاز يعمل بجهد، وقد صبرت كثيراً”.
وأوضح: “وإذا زادت الأحمال التدريبية على اللاعبين ستزداد الإصابات، اللاعبون جاءوا مرهقين بسبب ضغط مباريات السوبر، ولذلك أتعامل معهم بوعي حتى لا نخسر المزيد بسبب الإجهاد، سأعمل مثل المدربين الأجانب وسأستمر على هذا النهج، والسوشيال ميديا خربت بيوتاً وبلاداً، ربنا ينجّينا منهم”.

وأشار: “في السابق كنتم تقولون إن المدرب الأجنبي قدّم لاعباً أو اثنين، أما نحن فكم لاعباً قدمنا الآن؟ هؤلاء ذخيرة جديدة، اهدأوا قليلاً على بلدكم، وكونوا مثل الشعب الطيب، وحتى لو خسرنا اليوم، ما المشكلة؟”.
واستطرد: “أنا راضٍ عن أداء الفريق في المباراتين، نعم الهدف جاء بطريقة غير جيدة، لكن الأخطاء كانت نتيجة الضغط على الكرة، يخرج بعد ذلك أحد الفنانين ويسخر، سأظل كما أنا”.
وتابع: “لماذا تُحاربون المدربين الوطنيين؟ انظروا إلى تجربة المغرب، لو الأمر بيدي لجعلت جميع مدربي المنتخبات في مصر مدربين مصريين، نحن نتقاضى رواتب بالجنيه، وليس بالدولار مثل ميكالي الذي كان يحصل على مبلغ كبير بالدولار”.
وأضاف: “لو تريدون أن تجعلوني (تريند) فلا يهمني، هناك أشخاص ينتقدون وهم لا يفهمون شيئاً، “موتوا بغيظكم”، هل تعرفون تاريخي أنا وإبراهيم حسن؟ نحن صنعنا تاريخاً قبل أن يولد كثير من الذين يتحدثون وينتقدون الآن”.
وأتم: “نحن وصلنا إلى كأس العالم وكأس الأمم، ومن يزعجه ذلك فليبتعد، هذا الجهاز تأهل إلى كأس العالم بجهد كبير ومن دون هزيمة، والقادم أصعب، والمستوى الذي سنواجه أعلى كثيراً من السابق”.

Ollie Watkins has drawn criticism at Aston Villa from Ian Wright and his one goal in 12 appearances across all competitions is unlikely to convince the masses, albeit the England international is still a supreme force on his day.
Other senior figures were drafted in from the bench to try and save the say, including John McGinn and Matty Cash, but couldn’t work their magic. Intriguingly, TBR report that McGinn and Cash are set to sign contract extensions at Villa Park as Olabe gets to work.

Rogers and Tielemans are both key cogs in the Villa machine, evidenced by the fact they have made 185 appearances for the club between them, and the fact there is small progress being made will be music to the ears of supporters.
Despite their appeal on the market, Emery keeping hold of both would greatly help his side’s Premier League prospects, though it remains to be seen whether they can push an agreement over the line.

Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman has been urged to make a bold call by dropping Manchester City’s £60 million ($81m) midfielder Tijjani Reijnders from his national team setup. The 26-year-old has been one of Pep Guardiola’s most trusted lieutenants since arriving from AC Milan in the summer, shining as a deep-lying creative force in City’s engine room. But despite his fine start to life in England, not everyone back home believes he should keep his place in the Oranje midfield.
Dutch dilemma: Koeman warned to shake up his midfield
Dutch pundit and former international Theo Janssen has delivered a brutal verdict, insisting Reijnders doesn’t fit the balance Koeman needs as the Netherlands push towards Euro 2026 qualification. Janssen didn’t mince his words when discussing Koeman’s midfield trio of Reijnders, Frenkie de Jong, and Ryan Gravenberch, claiming their similar styles make the team predictable.
“That’s not the midfield I dream of. You need different types in midfield,” he told . “They’re very similar because they rely on positional play. It’s actually good to have a Justin Kluivert type in there. He can play a through ball, score a goal, and dive into the gaps."
When pushed to choose who should make way, the former PSV and Vitesse man didn’t hesitate.
“I think Reijnders will be the victim. He’s a very good player. Only, Frenkie de Jong is undisputed,” he added. “Gravenberch is really good at staying close, winning possessions, and playing duels. But he’s also fantastic at getting open and playing forward. Frenkie and Gravenberch complement each other; they simply fit together best.”

Even Koeman himself admits he’s spoilt for choice in the middle of the park. Speaking to after the Netherlands’ recent international fixtures, the manager acknowledged the fierce competition for places.
"These are choices. Difficult choices. Frenkie, Ryan, and Tijjani would play anywhere," he said. "You keep a great player on the bench. Justin filled in well, but Tijjani can also play well there, as can Xavi Simons. I don't have a preference. Kluivert brings a different dynamic to the team. But for Spain, for example, Dani Olmo sometimes sits on the bench because Pedri is playing. Those are choices you make."
Meanwhile, Kuivert has asserted that he brings a different flair to the pitch than his teammates, implying that he should be considered ahead of the others. He is yet to find his scoring boots for the Dutch and has scored just once in seven appearances for Bournemouth this campaign.
"I try to give myself to the team. I do bring something different than the other three midfielders," he said. "I have slightly different qualities. The manager has more options, and that's a good thing; we need that."

Since his summer switch from AC Milan, Reijnders has clocked 10 appearances across competitions, bagging one goal and three assists, including a dazzling debut display at Wolves in City’s Premier League opener. That day, the Dutchman ran the show, scoring once, assisting another, and earning glowing praise from Guardiola himself.
He told BBC Sport: "Not just today, in Palermo (a 3-0 pre-season win) he played really good. He is a typical player we need in the Premier League. He is an incredible, big signing for us. His work ethic, a holding midfielder occupies a lot of spaces and then after the control with the ball and his movements. And then he is trying to get in behind and score – really pleased."

The summer of the saga is finally over, but it’s difficult to know how Newcastle United supporters will feel about it.
On deadline day, Alexander Isak joined Liverpool for a reported fee of £125m, including add-ons, which makes this a British transfer record.
The Swede has, quite publicly, been on strike all summer as he attempted to force through this move to Merseyside, skipping the Magpies’ pre-season tour of Asia and also not turning up to the PFA awards, where he was named in the team of the season.
As a result, the Geordie faithful have completely turned against Isak, making it frankly unfathomable that he would ever play for the club again, so most will be glad to see him gone, albeit their team are losing arguably the best striker in the Premier League.

The Magpies have signed two very expensive strikers to fill his void, it remains to be seen if they’ll come good, but the astronomical fees being paid by all clubs this summer has only underlined the fact that Newcastle struck gold snapping up their talisman.

On Saturday, Newcastle announced the signing of striker Nick Woltemade, arriving from Stuttgart for an initial fee of £65m plus up to £4.3m in add-ons.
This time last year, barely anyone had heard of Woltemade, considering he’d scored just two top division goals during his time at Werder Bremen.
However, the 23-year-old really burst onto the scene at Stuttgart, netting 18 times in just 36 appearances for die Schwaben, including scoring during each round of the DFB-Pokal, breaking the deadlock against Arminia Bielefeld in May’s final, as his side won the competition for the first time since 1997.
He then further enhanced his reputation during this summer’s U21 European Championships, bagging a hat-trick during Germany’s tournament opener against Slovenia, picking up the golden boot by netting six times in total, as die Mannschaft were defeated 3-2 by England in the final in Bratislava.

Standing at 198 cms (6 ft 6 in) tall, he is nicknamed “Woltemessi” due to his perceived good touch for a big man, so it’ll be fascinating to see how he fares on Tyneside.
That is not all, though, because on deadline day, Newcastle also finally completed the signing of long-term target Yoane Wissa.
The DR Congo international himself had gone full-Isak at Brentford, refusing to play as he pushed for a move, but the two clubs agreed a fee of £55m on Monday, after bids of £25m and £40m had both been rejected earlier this summer.
Wissa leaves West London as Brentford’s all-time leading scorer in the Premier League, having been on target 49 times in all competitions for the Bees, 19 of which came in the Premier League last season, a tally only bettered by Mohamed Salah, Isak, Erling Braut Håland, Bryan Mbeumo and Chris Wood.
At 28 years old, however, £55m for Wissa, when you’ve also just signed another striker for around £70m, does seem very high, further underlining how much of a bargain Newcastle’s talisman has proved to be.

Back in October 2021, the Saudi Public Investment Fund completed their £305m takeover of Newcastle United and, after swiftly replacing Steve Bruce with Eddie Howe, they wanted to make a splash in the transfer market.
During that first January window, with the Toon Army very much embroiled in a relegation battle, having won just one of their first 20 fixtures, the new owners spent big to ensure Premier League survival.
Four new signings arrived for a combined £90m, namely Chris Wood, Kieran Trippier, Dan Burn and Bruno Guimarães, and the latter instantaneously became a cult hero on Tyneside.
To date, Guimarães has made 147 appearances for the Magpies, scoring 23 goals and registering 24 assists, playing an instrumental role in the team that won last season’s EFL Cup, ending the club’s 70-year wait for major domestic silverware.

وأضاف: “اللاعبون يتدربون بقوة رغم الظروف الصعبة التي يمر بها النادي، وهذا ليس معناه أن ذهنهم صافي بنسبة 100%، ولم يهدد أي لاعب بالغياب عن التدريب بسبب عدم الحصول على مستحقاته، نحاول احتواء هذه المواقف، ونعلم أن مجلس الإدارة وجون إدوارد المدير الرياضي يسعيان لإنهاء الأزمة، ولسنا سعداء بمطالبة اللاعبين بمستحقاتهم المالية، وسنحاول على قدر الإمكان أن تكون هناك استدامة في الصرف بمجرد عودة أرض الزمالك في أكتوبر”.
وكشف عبد الناصر محمد: “هناك أندية كثيرة تتأخر في صرف مستحقات اللاعبين ولكن الموضوع في الزمالك بشكل أكبر، وفي النهاية اللاعب سيحصل على مستحقاته، ولا يوجد تقصير من الإدارة أو إدارة الكرة في حل أزمة المستحقات، والجهاز الفني واللاعبون يبذلون أقصى جهد في الملعب لتحقيق أفضل النتائج من أجل جمهور الزمالك الكبير”.
وفيما يخص اللائحة الجديدة: “هناك لائحة جديدة للموسم الحالي، وهي استثنائية، لأنه موسم استثنائي، والنادي يمر بمرحلة تجديد، والجميع شاركوا في اللائحة، وقمت بتسليمها للمدير الرياضي”.
