Perto de garantir o seu retorno para a Série A do Campeonato Brasileiro em 2016, o Botafogo tem uma sequência, no mínimo, turbulenta pela frente. A partir do jogo de sábado contra o Bahia, o Glorioso enfrenta uma série de adversários nos quais não teve um bom desempenho no primeiro turno da competição. Neste árduo período o Glorioso empatou com Bahia, Criciúma e Luverdense, perdeu para o Santa Cruz e chegou a amargar o quarto lugar da tabela. Empenhado em não só garantir o acesso, quanto antes, a equipe alvinegra espera reescrever essa história no segundo turno e se consolidar como franca favorita ao título da Série B do Campeonato Brasileiro.

Questionado sobre a sequência indigesta que o Botafogo tem pela frente, o técnico Ricardo Gomes foi objetivo e repetiu a filosofia usada pelo clube alvinegro durante a disputa da Série B do Brasileiro.
– Essa projeção de ah “no turno não foi boa”… vamos pensar jogo a jogo – disse o treinador alvinegro.

But now, according to journalist and sports correspondent in Spain for AFP, Tom Allnutt, even if the takeover goes through and Newcastle do show some interest in luring Bale away from Los Blancos, the Welshman is “not interested” in the making the switch.

After hearing about the update on Bale, Newcastle fans took to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the news.

A couple of Newcastle fans insisted that they didn’t want another “overpaid” star to turn up at St James’ Park.

Well that didn’t take long.

Just as the Bale to Newcastle rumours started emerging, the story has effectively been killed off. And even fans of the Tyneside club don’t seem too surprised or bothered.

Whilst new signings and big names could be on the cards, there is also an air of realism to the kinds of players the club would be able to attract. And Bale just doesn’t fall into that category.

O Botafogo não vence há três jogos e vem tendo dificuldades para encontrar o caminho do gol ao enfrentar equipes fechadas. Nos últimos dois jogos, o Alvinegro teve três jogadores expulsos. Segundo o técnico Artur Jorge, a frustração de não conseguir ganhar as partidas, mesmo com um amplo domínio sobre o adversário, influencia no psicológico dos jogadores em campo.

– São três jogos que não conseguimos vencer, com mais de 70% de posse de bola, com mais de 80 arremates no total. Claramente, dominadores. Mas é frustrante enquanto equipe. Não conseguimos materializar. Fizemos um gol. E isso tem impacto na parte emocional dos atletas, também. Porque não vão acontecendo as coisas, vai aumentando a ansiedade, com a dificuldade que nós próprios criamos dentro do jogo – explicou.

A new report coming from El Chiringuito TV claims that the Blaugrana have taken an interest in Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has scored 50 goals in 78 games for the Gunners.

The same source states that the Catalans will wait on the striker’s decision until the end of the season and that they see him as a potential Luis Suarez replacement.

But many Barcelona fans are not really loving this idea.

Some of them feel that Aubameyang is too old, seeing as he’s already 30, and others simply don’t see the need for such a signing with Antoine Griezmann already at the club.
